Doc Martin Christmas Story

Instead of my Substack newsletter going out over the weekend (as usual), this week’s newsletter is going out in Christmas Eve.

Years ago, I wrote a Doc Martin story on FanFiction where I added myself as one of the characters on Doc Martin, Doc Martin’s long-lost brother. I called it “Doc Martin: Brotherly Love”. I also wrote a Christmas story based off the same story line called “Bah HumDoc: A Cornish Christmas Carol” where Doc Martin acts a bit like Scrooge.

I’ve always enjoyed the show Doc Martin and watched it frequently on PBS. I also now own the entire series and plan to re-watch them all sometime in 2025.

I enjoyed writing some fictional Doc Martin pieces. I may need to write some more in 2025, as there are other Doc Martin fans who have asked for them. With the official Doc Martin series ending, maybe it’s time to fill some of the void!
