When I first launched this Substack, I mentioned that I would be offering two tiers: a free tier of technology articles, and a paid tier that will offer Theology articles I am currently studying or researching.
This Spring or Summer, I plan to start releasing the Theology articles. I hope to write at least a couple per month if possible. I am wrapping up publishing my PhD dissertation with Wipf & Stock, plus I am writing a journal article for Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society (JETS). Once I finish those two projects, I plan to start writing the Theology articles that will be exclusive to paid subscribers.
In the meantime, I have had some readers of my free Substack ask how they can “buy me a Chick-Fil-A sandwich” (or a handful of Chick-Fil-A sandwiches) to support my newsletter, as they are already finding value in the regular technology content I have been posting (I have been trying to post weekly). Therefore, I am activating my paid subscription tier early for those who want to “buy me a Chick-Fil-A sandwich” (or more) while waiting for the exclusive content to arrive. Pricing runs $50/year or $5/month. I’ve also added a “Founding Member” tier for $150/year. It entitles subscribers to discounted pricing on a signed copy of my PhD dissertation. You can email me for details, and I can let you know when this perk will be available. If you find the content valuable, plus you want to prepare for the upcoming exclusive content, please consider subscribing to my paid tier.
While you wait for the exclusive paid content to arrive, all subscribers (free or paid) will continue receiving my regular technology posts. I have decided to place archive posts behind the paid tier paywall after three months so that only paid subscribers can access the full searchable archives. This will provide more value for paid subscribers. Paid subscribers are the only ones who can also comment on posts and access live chat. This way we can reduce spammers and bots from interacting.
Don’t forget that all of my readers can gain a special discount on Nota Bene (the word processor I use to type these posts up) with group code NBNP. For those interested in Nota Bene, this is the ideal discount to enjoy it!
Thank you all for reading my newsletter, and I look forward to serving you well in 2025!
